What you’ll do:
The title clerk position is responsible for the processing of titles from seller to buyer. This position is responsible for the proficient handling of all paperwork associated with titles to ensure they clear DMV. The Title Clerk always exhibits superior customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding and courteous service to all customers at all times.
- Ensure accurate inventory control. Maintain inventory folders to keep the department well organized.
- Assist with month-end reports and audits.
- Work well independently as well as a team player.
- Timely communication of issues that may be deemed as detrimental to the success of operations to Management.
- Performs other duties as necessary.
- Process DMV title and tag transactions with precision and efficiency.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with DMV regulations and procedures
- Handle sensitive and confidential documents responsibly
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
Requirements
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years DMV experience (at a Select or CSC required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Complete Bank Deposit
- Money Handler
- Audit of Paperwork on Daily Basis
- Accuracy and attention to detail in paperwork
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of DMV regulations and procedures
- Team-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Bilingual abilities a plus
