Reporting to National Operations Manager, the Logistics Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective storage and delivery of Red Bull product for Australia at a quality standard that reflects the premium of the brand. You will concentrate on the optimisation of Red Bull’s supply chain by managing the performance of third party logistics providers to bring in the expected business results and service. Being a key part of the Red Bull Operations Team you will assist in the implementation and compliance with Red Bull Operations standards and reporting. You will prepare national warehousing and distribution budgets, tenders and negotiations from thorough analysis and business reasoning to continuously improve operations. This role also includes managing two direct reports, ensuring their performance and professional development contribute to the overall success of the company’s operational objectives.

 

Job Description

CONTRACT MANAGEMENT

  • Manage warehousing and distribution third party logistics (3PL’s) to achieve the most effective and efficient cost to serve
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of 3PL operations to ensure service and costs meet expectations
  • Process 3PL invoices and prepare for payment
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects with 3PL collaboration
  • Define service level agreements (SLA’s) and monitor of supplier performance

INVENTORY ACCURACY

  • Manage inventory accuracy through regular stock-takes, investigation of errors, and monitoring stock movements
  • Investigate and minimise product damage throughout the supply chain
  • Ensure processing and recording of all inventory movements and invoices
  • Maintain efficient and effective recall procedures are always ready for implementation
  • Reconcile, investigate and action daily stock reconciliation

ACCOUNTABILITY/REPORTING

  • Monthly management reporting, including KPI analysis for external suppliers and customers
  • Partner with Sales Teams to conduct regular reviews with key distributors and major customers
  • Prepare KPI reports for external suppliers and relevant customers
  • Generate monthly KPI reporting to National Operations Manager (Finished Goods Levels, Costs, Free Goods)
  • Compile logistics quality reports and submit filed samples to HQ

PROJECTS

  • Assist with distribution planning, outsourcing decisions, provider selection, and contract implementation
  • Prepare and attend monthly budget review meetings
  • Provide budget recommendations aligned with the business planning process.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain management
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in leading and managing teams
  • Background in high-volume FMCG distribution operations
  • Expertise in Customs Clearance, Brokerage, Cartage, and Freight Forwarding
  • Proficient in SAP systems, specifically SD and MM modules
  • Hands-on experience with EDI implementation for 3PLs and customer integrations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
