IT Product Owner

In a nutshell

As a Product Owner, you will be working closely with our Digital OnLine (DOL) team, as the voice of the customer and business. You will define and communicate the product vision, translate high level business requirements into clear detailed requirements, and maximize value delivery by continuously prioritizing and refining the backlog. The Product Owner will work closely with Business Requirement Owners (BROs), architects, UX, business analysts, development teams and other stakeholders to achieve outcomes that align with DOL and Eurofins objectives.

Where will you be based and what business will you support?

Based in Nantes, France you will be supporting the Eurofins Digital OnLine (DOL) team, which is managing multiple eCommerce products. The team is continuously improving the applications to meet business demand and improve customer satisfaction.

How can you help us? 

You will work on:

• 1) Product Strategy & Roadmap by:

• Defining product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals. 
• Participating in arbitration sessions with BROs to prioritize requirements. 
• Investigating business requirements for cross–Area of Activity similarities and differences. 
• Ensuring alignment between written detailed specifications and the high‑level business requirements. 

• 2) Backlog Management & Delivery by:

• Splitting business requirements into smaller detailed requirements following the INVEST methodology. 
• Participating in Global Refinement and get teams assigned with requirements based on priority and capacity. 
• Planning and maintaining a backlog of requirements by collaborating with BROs, DOBRs and the development team. 
• Conducting capacity planning with team leads. 
• Prioritizing bugs and problem tickets to safeguard product quality and user experience. 

• 3) Collaboration & Governance (RACI‑driven) by:

• Analysing and validating the impact of Business Requirements; ensure shared understanding across stakeholders (R). 
• Ensuring compliance with Definition of Ready (DOR) for Requirements (R). 
• Eliciting, analysing, refining and documenting Backlog items; delegating to Business Analysts as needed while remaining accountable (A). 
• Approving product backlog items in collaboration with the Business Requirements Owner, as scope evolves (R/C as per context). 
• Ensuring compliance with DOR for product backlog items (R). 
• Reviewing and providing acceptance during Sprint Reviews and other demos where User Requirements are implemented (R). 
• Contributing to UAT process definition, orchestration and planning (C); support RUN UAT led by business (C). 
• Facilitating refinement of the product backlog items with the development team. 

• 4) Stakeholder Management by:

• Aligning stakeholders on priorities, scope decisions and delivery timelines. 
• Initiating and facilitating collaboration between Architects, UX, Team Leads, Business Analysts and other Product Owners. 

• 5) Quality, Compliance & Leadership by:

• Bing accountable for compliance and quality standards in deliverables. 
• Mentoring the team, foster a healthy team dynamic and ensure alignment with ways of working. 
• Encouraging knowledge sharing and upskilling within the team to maintain high competency levels.

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

You have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, managing digital products end to end.
• Strong skills in backlog management, prioritization, and requirements decomposition (INVEST).
• Demonstrated ability to align diverse stakeholders and make data informed trade off decisions.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English; ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

You are:

• Familiar with Agile/Scrum practices and collaborating with cross functional teams.
• Highly organized, analytical, and customer focused, with a track record of improving product outcomes.
• Fluent in English
