About the Role
<p><strong>The Role</strong><br>The Principal, Managed Care Solutions is a senior, consultative sales leader responsible for originating, shaping, and closing managed care consulting engagements and, when needed, supporting or participating in delivery and implementation of the services sold.</p>
<p>You will sit at the intersection of business development, managed care expertise, and consulting delivery. You are confident in engaging directly with hospital and health system executives, contracting leaders, finance, and revenue cycle teams to diagnose complex payor challenges, design solutions, and guide clients from initial conversation through execution.<br><br></p>
<p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p>
<p>Consultative Sales and Business Development</p>
<ul>
<li>Own the full sales cycle for managed care and consulting engagements</li>
<li>Lead executive-level conversations with senior stakeholders</li>
<li>Diagnose complex managed care and reimbursement challenges</li>
</ul>
<p>Implementation and Delivery Support</p>
<ul>
<li>Support or participate in implementation when needed</li>
<li>Ensure continuity from sale through delivery</li>
</ul>
<p>Relationship Management and Account Growth</p>
<ul>
<li>Build long-term client relationships</li>
<li>Identify expansion opportunities</li>
</ul>
<p><br><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>7-12+ years of experience in managed care, healthcare consulting, provider contracting, or related healthcare advisory roles, with demonstrated sales or client-development responsibility.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of hospital or health system managed care operations, payor contracting, and negotiation dynamics.</li>
<li>Proven ability to sell complex, high-value consulting or professional services.</li>
<li>Executive presence and credibility with senior provider leadership.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, able to connect financial, operational, and contractual considerations.</li>
<li>Comfort operating in a hybrid role that blends sales, strategy, and implementation support.<br><br></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Nice to Have’s</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Prior experience in managed care consulting, advisory services, or provider-side contracting leadership.</li>
<li>Experience participating in or leading payor negotiations.</li>
<li>Familiarity with healthcare financial modeling, contract analytics, or implementation and change management work.</li>
<li>Background working with hospitals, health systems, or large physician groups.</li>
