About the Role

SUMMARY:
The Wholesale Development Manager will be responsible for designing and executing AMain Hobbies’ long-term wholesale growth strategy. This role combines leadership, analytics, and business development to expand our B2B footprint, strengthen partnerships, and build a high-performing wholesale team. The ideal candidate has led wholesale or B2B sales teams, implemented CRM systems, developed KPIs and reporting frameworks, and can confidently build the structure needed to scale. They will drive the total profitability of the business unit. We encourage you to think differently and utilize a measured mix of support, communication, and promotion that drives sales for our partners and profit for our customers.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership & Growth

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive wholesale growth strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels both domestically and internationally.
  • Build and scale a high-performing wholesale team with clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast sales, evaluate performance, and continuously optimize structure and process.

Operational Excellence & Data Management

  • Implement and manage CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to improve data visibility, reporting accuracy, and customer pipeline management.
  • Use data analytics to track performance, identify trends, and drive informed decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to measure sales effectiveness, profitability, and partner satisfaction.
  • Create and refine operational workflows for account management, pricing, and fulfillment.

Business Development & Account Strategy

  • Oversee key accounts and ensure exceptional partner experience across all wholesale relationships.
  • Negotiate terms, contracts, and promotional programs that balance revenue growth with brand integrity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, logistics, marketing, and finance to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Expand AMain’s distribution network, strengthening our global presence and market reach.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Hire, train, and mentor team members to build a culture of performance, collaboration, and growth.
  • Establish clear communication channels and accountability frameworks.
  • Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centric thinking within the wholesale organization.

Requirements

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

· 5+ years of experience in wholesale, B2B sales, or account management; hobby, retail, or eCommerce industry experience is a plus.

· 3+ years leading a sales or wholesale development team with measurable success.

· Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills—able to translate data into actionable insights.

· Strong negotiation and communication skills.

· Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth.

· Comfortable with sales reporting tools, CRM systems, and Excel.

· Knowledge of the hobby, RC, or cycling industries a strong advantage.


JOB CONDITIONS:
