As an Applications Engineer within our global manufacturing organization, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative, high-quality solutions to our customers. You will serve as a technical liaison between customers, sales, product managers, customer support, engineering, and operations teams worldwide, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed expectations. What you will do:
- Partner directly with customers to understand their needs, define product requirements, and identify opportunities for innovation and future development.
- Translate customer specifications into actionable engineering solutions, ensuring designs are cost-effective, manufacturable, and aligned with performance standards.
- Lead application engineering efforts, including product validation, testing, and documentation.
- Provide technical support to internal teams including marketing, sales, engineering and manufacturing, ensuring alignment across all phases of the product lifecycle.
- Manage requests for Engineering Action (REAs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and deviations with accuracy and timeliness.
- Evaluate and recommend materials, components, and processes to enhance product performance and profitability.
- Working closely with customers to provide customized solutions with a win-win approach to maximize the value add through our engineering solutions to differenciate from competitions
- Provide accurate and timely quotations to customers
- Deliver technical training and support to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate across global teams to drive continuous improvement and share best practices.
We are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in applications or product engineering, preferable in a manufacturing or electromechanical environment.
- Experience in customizations engineering, customized solutions, prototypes, quotations is preferred.
- Experience in linear motion products, lead screw, stepper motor, linear actuators, rotary motors, brushed and brushless DC motors, linear rail and guide systems, motion systems is a plus
- Fluency in English required; additional language skills relevant to markets are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods, electromechanical systems, and engineering design principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SolidWorks is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments and cultures.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and technical solutions.
- Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
