About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Manager to lead the product vision, strategy, and execution for our EV Charger Network domain within the Charging Station Management System (CSMS). This role sits at the intersection of EV charging infrastructure, software platforms, and customer value owning the product lifecycle that connects operators, charging hardware, and enterprise users into a seamless, data-driven experience. Your goal would be to make EV charging a reliable, robust experience and to assist our customers increase their charging success rate. You’ll define what “great” looks like for charger connectivity, reliability, diagnostics, integrations (APIs/roaming), performance metrics, and operational tooling.
This position combines strategic thinking, technical acumen, and hands-on execution, working closely with engineering, design, operations teams, and external partners to deliver world-class charging experiences - You will be the CEO of the charger network domain. It is ideal for someone passionate about EV charging, systems that scale, and building products operators love. If you also like to go on site and experience hands on how chargers operate and dive into communication protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Lead the vision and roadmap for the Charger Network domain within the CSMS, aligned with company strategy and customer needs.
- Define long-term product strategy and break it down into quarterly goals, initiatives, and deliverables.
- Champion products that help operators monitor, manage, and optimize charging assets at scale, including diagnostics, uptime, and performance analytics.
Requirements & Prioritization
- Gather and define product requirements, bridging hardware (charging stations), firmware communication (e.g., OCPP/OCPI), and backend software in scale.
- Understand the business model of your customers to drive value for their business with clear, functional product designs.
- Translate customer problems and business objectives into clear, prioritized features (PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria).
- Conduct market, competitive, and usage research to validate opportunities and inform product directions.
- Understand the technical implications of charging protocols, station telemetry, and connectivity patterns.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with engineering, design, operations, support, QA, and data teams to deliver features end-to-end.
- Balance trade-offs between user value, technical complexity, and operational feasibility.
- Set success metrics (KPIs), track performance post-launch, and iterate on outcomes.
Requirements
Required
- 3+ years of product management experience in technology, ideally with exposure to charging infrastructure, IoT platforms with enterprise customers.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical\Electrical Engineering or proven strong technical background
- Demonstrated success defining product roadmaps, managing lifecycles, and delivering measurable outcomes at scale.
- Technical fluency (comfortable with APIs, telemetry data, hardware/software interactions).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-informed decision-making.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator; adept at working across functional teams.
Preferred
- Experience in EV charging software, CSMS, energy management systems, or related fields.
- Familiarity with charging protocols like OCPP, OCPI, or similar IoT standards.
- Experience leading cross-domain or multi-team products at scale.
- Prior work in agile environments with tools like Jira, Confluence, or product analytics platforms.
