About the Role

A Facilities Specialist (Contract Role) who supports the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of the organization’s physical workplace. This role ensures that facilities are functional, efficient, well-maintained, and aligned with company standards. The Facilities Specialist partners with vendors, team members, and leadership teams to create a safe, clean, and productive environment for all team members.

What you will do…  

  • Manage day-to-day facilities operations for a software technology office
  • Monitor the condition of the facility, including office areas, conference rooms, breakrooms, and common spaces.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify safety, maintenance needs, and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain inventory of building supplies, equipment, and furniture.
  • Schedule and track vendor services, ensuring timely completion and quality standards. 
  • Assist with desk setups, office moves, furniture arrangements, and space planning.
  • Ensure meeting rooms, collaborative areas, and employee amenities are fully functional and properly stocked.
  • Respond to employee facility requests and troubleshoot workplace issues
  • Support company safety initiatives, including fire safety, emergency preparedness, and compliance with OSHA and building regulations
  • Support special projects and workplace improvements as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned

What you bring…  

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ year of facilities or workplace operations experience in an office environment required
  • Experience supporting corporate or technology office spaces preferred
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
  • Proactive and professional attitude
  • Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
  • This is a contract role. Must be able to work in our Dallas office as this is not a remote role.
