Our people are ambitious, collaborative, and constantly evolving.</p> <h3>What You’ll Do</h3> <p><strong>Analytical Leadership</strong></p> <ul> <li>Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches</li> <li>Analyze large datasets in BigQuery and uncover trends, opportunities, and risks</li> <li>Develop clear metrics and refine existing KPIs to support operational and strategic goals</li> <li>Lead deep-dive investigations that help teams understand user behavior, product performance, or financial outcomes</li> </ul> <p><strong>Data Exploration and SQL Expertise</strong></p> <ul> <li>Write advanced SQL in BigQuery to prepare datasets, conduct analyses, and validate results</li> <li>Build well-documented datasets that analysts and partners can rely on for reporting</li> <li>Understand partitioning, clustering, and basic cost-awareness to support efficient analysis</li> </ul> <p><strong>Dashboarding and Reporting</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build dashboards and reports using tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI</li> <li>Design visualizations that communicate insights with clarity</li> <li>Maintain documentation for metrics, definitions, and analytical logic</li> <li>Collaborate with product and business teams to ensure dashboards support decision-making processes</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experimentation and Statistical Insight</strong></p> <ul> <li>Analyze A/B tests and experiments using sound statistical reasoning</li> <li>Apply techniques such as confidence intervals, significance testing, or uplift analysis</li> <li>Identify potential data issues or bias and share findings with clear recommendations</li> </ul> <p><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to align on data needs</li> <li>Provide guidance to less experienced analysts on SQL, analysis methods, and best practices</li> <li>Present insights in a clear narrative that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences</li> </ul> <h3>What You Bring</h3> <p><strong>Technical Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong SQL skills with significant experience in BigQuery</li> <li>Expertise in analytics and visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI</li> <li>Comfort working with large datasets and understanding core data modeling concepts</li> <li>Experience using Python or R for deeper analysis when needed</li> <li>Awareness of how datasets are produced upstream and ability to collaborate with data engineers</li> </ul> <p><strong>Analytical Depth</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong reasoning applied to ambiguous or complex business questions</li> <li>Clear understanding of statistics used in experimentation and data exploration</li> <li>Careful thinking about data quality, sampling, and reliability</li> <li>Ability to identify drivers behind patterns and translate them into practical insights</li> </ul> <p><strong>Professional Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong communication with partners at all levels</li> <li>Steady ownership of deliverables and ability to organize work across multiple threads</li> <li>Capacity to mentor others and contribute to team development</li> <li>Advanced English proficiency</li> </ul> <h3>Nice to Have</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with LookML or semantic modeling in Looker</li> <li>Familiarity with dbt or Dataform, especially when working with metric layers</li> <li>Experience with BigQuery ML for quick predictive or segmentation work</li> <li>Awareness of Composer, Airflow, or general pipeline contexts</li> <li>Experience analyzing event-based datasets</li> </ul> <h3>English level</h3> <p>Upper-Intermediate</p> <h3>Legal &amp; Hiring Information&nbsp;</h3> <ul> <li>Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more</li> <li>Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions</li> <li>Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
