Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of&nbsp;enabling human life on Mars.</p></div><p><strong>BENEFITS COORDINATOR</strong></p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide support with administration of employee benefit programs, such as medical, dental, vision, life, accident and disability insurance, and retirement plans, including new hire orientation and annual benefits open enrollment</li> <li>Assist, advise, and counsel employees on day-to-day benefit-related questions (via email, phone, walk-ups, and drop-in sessions)</li> <li>Maintain integrity of eligibility enrollments within Workday</li> <li>Partner with our payroll department to ensure accuracy of benefit deductions</li> <li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:</li> <ul> <li>Employee perks administration, employee services, and company wellness initiatives</li> <li>Relocation administration</li> <li>Commuter benefits administration</li> <li>Leaves of absence (LOA) administration</li> <li>Workers’ compensation administration</li> <li>Onsite medical and dental clinics</li> <li>Onsite preschool</li> <li>Employee perquisites and wellness initiatives</li> <li>Commuter benefits</li> </ul> </ul> <p><strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree</li> <li>6+ months of administrative experience (internship experience qualifies)</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience in employee benefits, leave of absence, or workers’ compensation</li> <li>Experience with Workday or other HRIS system</li> <li>Ability to use independent judgment and prioritize work</li> <li>Effective verbal, written and presentation communication skills</li> <li>Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel</li> <li>Attention to detail and commitment to quality</li> <li>Highly collaborative style and strong team orientation</li> <li>Highly organized with ability to manage multiple high-priorities in a fast-paced, loosely structured environment</li> <li>Ability to consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines</li> <li>Bilingual in Spanish</li> </ul> <p><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>This is&nbsp;<u>not</u> a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Hawthorne, CA area</li> <li>Position requires ability to work overtime hours and weekends when needed</li> <li>Must be willing travel to other SpaceX sites (up to 15%)</li> </ul> <p><strong>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:</strong><br>&nbsp;<br>Pay range:</p> <p>Benefits Coordinator: $27.00/hour</p> <p>Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.</p> <p>Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
