Kitchen Manager


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for culinary excellence.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities, including food preparation and cooking.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure high standards are met.
  • Develop and implement menus, taking into account seasonal availability and customer preferences.
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
  • Address any kitchen-related issues or concerns promptly and effectively.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
  • Proficient in inventory management and cost control.

Physical requirements:

  • Continuous walking and other means of mobility up to 8 hours a day
