About the Role

EnerMech is seeking an Umbilical Engineer to support offshore and onshore subsea projects, with a focus on umbilical testing, commissioning, and subsea control systems. This role combines project engineering with hands-on field execution.

You will support umbilical and well commissioning activities from engineering through execution, including testing, installation, commissioning, and client delivery.

Job Description:

  • Engineering and execution of umbilical hydraulic, electrical, and fiber optic testing Support umbilical commissioning, flushing, and fluid displacement.
  • Perform subsea control system installation, integration, testing, and commissioning.
  • Prepare and review procedures, drawings, calculations, and reports.
  • Lead or support FAT/SIT activities.
  • Mobilize/demobilize equipment and execute work onshore and offshore.
  • Interface directly with clients and project teams.
  • Ensure work is completed safely, to spec, and on schedule.
  • Deliver clear post-job documentation and project close-out reports.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of offshore or subsea industry experience.
  • Strong experience with umbilicals and subsea control systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with SUTA, TUTA, pull-in heads, HPUs, EPUs, and distribution equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics and test procedures.
  • Comfortable working in field and offshore environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Prior experience with Umbilical's / Well commissioning.
