Job Summary:
The Sewing Machine Operator will be responsible for general operation of sewing machine and ensuring all product is completed within quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Includes the following but not limited to other duties that may be assigned.
· Operation of industrial sewing machine
· Ability to identify different cut parts and how to sew them together
· Knowledge of measurements
· Basic sewing machine maintenance/repair
· Accurate reporting to include time and production (piece rate)
· Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma/GED
· Previous experience operating an industrial sewing machine
· Ability to follow demonstrated directions
· Must be able to read tape measure
· Good communication skills
· Ability to read written instruction
Physical Demands:
· Should be able to lift, push, and pull up to 25lbs.
· Stand/Walk for full shift (8-12 hours)
· Bend/Twist
· Ability to work with both hands on a constant basis
