About the Role

Housekeeper

Location: FUNBOX
Schedule: Part-time | Approximately 24 hours per week

Position Overview

The Housekeeper plays a key role in keeping FUNBOX clean, safe, and guest-ready at all times. This role focuses on maintaining high cleanliness standards throughout the facility to ensure an excellent experience for guests and a safe environment for both visitors and team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, party rooms, lobby areas, staff areas, and high-touch surfaces
  • Vacuum, mop, sweep, and spot-clean floors throughout the facility
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and properly dispose of waste
  • Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials
  • Perform routine cleaning during operating hours and deeper cleaning during off-peak times
  • Monitor cleanliness throughout the day and respond quickly to spills or messes
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures
  • Communicate supply needs or facility issues to management
  • Support overall guest experience by maintaining a clean, welcoming environment

Schedule & Hours

  • Approximately 24 hours per week
  • Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs

Requirements

  Qualifications

  • Experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or hospital/medical facility cleaning is a major plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned areas
  • Comfortable coaching peers in a respectful, supportive manner
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and busy days

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Ability to perform cleaning tasks with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals consistent with normal housekeeping duties
