Payroll and Onboarding Specialist
Consolidated Resource, LLC and its affiliated companies are seeking a Payroll specialist that will also operate multiple duties in relation to an Onboarding Specialist role. This individual would be responsible for operating in our Payroll System to payroll and payroll activities in accordance to the regularly schedule runs, along with Onboarding/Offboarding team members in alignment with organizational policy, and state and federal law. This team member would act as a Point of Contact for Staff members, ranging from entry level employees, their managers, and executives. The onboarding process includes data entry, system upkeep, and all pre-employment screening set up – through drug testing and other to be defined in process.
Salary Range for this role – $70-80,000 Annually | FLSA Status – Exempt
· Expected Roles and Responsibilities
Run Weekly Payroll in Payroll system
o Collaborate with Managers and Time Approvers to ensure completeness
· Respond to New Hire Requests Timely
o Respond to New Hire Assistance Requests as needed
· Execute Termination Requests in all systems
· Reply to Inquiries on Pay, PTO, General Questions
o Escalate to appropriate Managers as needed
· Provide all staff a Point of Contact for inquires on Payroll, Deductions, PTO, and other areas as assigned.
· Add Garnishments, IWO’s, Repayment, and other items into payroll as received by Government, Legal Representation, or Similar Entities; while maintaining legal requirements.
· Work within various systems to collaboratively create the Employee Profile
· Express ways of improvement – continuous improvement in people and processes.
· Other Duties as assigned.
Requirements
Requirements for the role
· Business and Financial Acumen
· Interpersonal and Communication Skills, including but not limited to conflict resolution and confidentiality.
· Problem Solving Ability – Self Sufficiency and Knowing when to ask for assistance/direction
· Multiple years of experience with increasing responsibility across payroll systems, accounting systems, HCM, HRIS, ERP, CRM, or CRE.
Preferred Experience
· 1-3 years experience of increasing responsibility throughout an organization or system
· 1-3 years or further Extended Tenure with an Organization
· Direct Payroll Experience (Running Payroll, adding wage attachments, verifying QE/YE readiness)
· Systems experience – working within multiple systems Payroll – Accounting – Screening – Safety
Environmental Considerations and Requirements
· This role will primarily be in an office environment, working on a computer or other equivalent device.
· Noise Level is not expected to near 90db at any interval
· Will be expected to be able to lift 15lbs regularly, 45lbs infrequently, and have the opportunity for team lifting scenario with weights nearing or exceeding 100lbs.
· With this role you can expect to infrequently find yourself in a non-climate controlled environment, being exposed to weather, noise that is at 90db or exceeds it, as well as other hazards. (You will be provided or have available Personal Protective Equipment, not to include weather related clothing).
