Long-term Care If you do require a more long-term stay option, our skilled nursing facility offers a variety of conveniences and amenities to make Colfax Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia as homelike and comfortable as it can be both for the residents and for their families. We offer services in our facility that include individualized attention and care from our experienced and skilled nursing staff such as assistance with activities of daily living from simple guidance with dressing to complete care for all your loved ones’ needs. Colfax Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia also provide all our residents with an activities program run by our activities director, social services for our residents and families as they navigate through their journey of long-term care living, and more. Our goal is for our residents to recover from medical conditions with dignity while receiving the quality, compassionate care they deserve.

 What You’ll Do

As a CNA on our team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering person-centered care. Your day may include:

  • Responding to resident needs with patience and empathy
  • Assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, oral care, and incontinence support
  • Helping residents enjoy meals and stay nourished
  • Supporting mobility — from range-of-motion exercises to safe transfers and ambulation
  • Ensuring comfort through proper turning and positioning
  • Taking and recording vital signs and intake/output
  • Documenting daily care and restorative services
  • Participating in care planning and interdisciplinary discussions
  • Showing up reliably for your scheduled shifts — your presence matters

Requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required. 


Licenses/Certification

Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.

Valid CPR certificate preferred.


Experience

Six months experience in a long term-care environment preferred.


                              Note: All employees of Cascadia Healthcare are required to submit and be cleared to work in the facility per each 

                                                 state’s specific background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents.
