Join Uplifts, Stannah’s dedicated Homelift Team at a brand-new factory in Andover. You will be working in a manufacturing environment, with Standard Operating Procedures in place.

The Material Control Operative Job is permanent and full time, your hours will be:

Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00.

Candidates must have unrestricted right to work, sponsorship is not offered.

What You Will Do:

As a Material Controller, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of material movements and storage . This includes checking deliveries, placing incoming orders around assembly lines correctly.

You will pick products according to the specific customer requirements and prepare this for shipment.

Material Control Responsibilities:

• Follow standardised operating procedures and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Receive and book goods into the correct location
• Collaborate with team members to optimise efficiency
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Deal with any stock discrepancies or quality issues efficiently
• Ensure that the execution of the dispatch sequence is maintained within the required dates
• Actively involved in the replenishment of line side stock
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Health and Safety awareness in warehouse environment
• Forklift Licence desirable
