About the Role

DEPARTMENT: Parts

REPORTS TO: Location Manager


Provides a high level of external and internal customer satisfaction. Effectively engages and follows parts department standard processes.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for checking in parts orders daily and disbursing to correct location or customer.
  • Demonstrates a concern for JJ Nichting Co. as a whole. Exhibiting communication skills and cooperating with other departments and locations within JJ Nichting Co.
  • Promotes teamwork and maintains a positive attitude.
  • Fills position at parts counter as needed to support customer sales.
  • Collaborates with Parts Manager to ensure proper on-hand parts inventory to meet customer demand while achieving desired inventory performance standards.
  • Participates in ongoing inventory processes to ensure proper inventory control.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management.

Regular Schedule:

  • Full-time Monday to Friday

Seasonal Weekend Rotation

Requirements


Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge

  • Prior parts experience in an ag dealership or equivalent preferred, not required
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and fellow employees.
  • A willingness to work extended hours and weekends when required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
