If this sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you!&nbsp;</p> <h2><strong data-path-to-node="2" data-index-in-node="0">About the Opportunity</strong></h2> <p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior Technical Product Manager</strong> to own the<strong> Wavelo Biller</strong> — Wavelo’s core, configurable billing engine powering both wireless and wireline billing across multiple customers, brands, and billing models.</p> <p>The Wavelo biller is an event-based platform for prepaid, postpaid, and hybrid billing for consumer, SMB, and enterprise use cases, and is designed to extend beyond connectivity into device financing, hardware, and non-network services.&nbsp;</p> <p>This role is for a senior PM who is comfortable owning <strong>complex business-critical systems</strong>: defining clear behavior, setting guardrails, and making long-term tradeoffs that balance flexibility and scale.&nbsp; You will be accountable for how billing behaves across products, networks, and customers.</p> <h2 data-path-to-node="5"><strong data-path-to-node="5" data-index-in-node="0">Job Duties</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Set and communicate platform-level<strong> product strategy</strong> for <strong>billing</strong> at Wavelo<br><br></li> <li>Translate complex billing behavior into clear product definitions, requirements and guardrails<br><br></li> <li>Evaluate new use cases and customer requests, making tradeoffs between flexibility, risk, and long-term maintainability<br><br></li> <li>Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Product managers to align on billing behavior and ownership boundaries<br><br></li> <li>Enable Marketing through accurate, product-authored documentation that explains billing behavior, supported use cases, customer value, and competitive differentiation<br><br></li> <li>Partner with the Solutions team to <strong>evaluate customer-specific requirements</strong>, distinguishing between one-off needs and platform-level capabilities that should be productized<br><br></li> <li>Maintain a shared mental model of “how billing works” across teams<br><br></li> <li>Serve as a liaison to customer delivery/solutions teams — ensuring smooth onboarding, integration, and customization.<br><br></li> <li>Define success metrics and drive outcomes that improve customer experience.</li> </ul> <h2 data-path-to-node="7"><strong data-path-to-node="7" data-index-in-node="0">Knowledge, Skills and Abilities<br></strong></h2> <ul> <li>5+ years in technical product management experience, with senior-level ownership of platform or<strong> financial systems</strong><br><br></li> <li>Strong experience with <strong>billing (telecom is nice to have), invoicing, payments, or accounting-adjacent platforms</strong><strong><br><br></strong></li> <li><strong>Demonstrated ability to work closely with engineering teams in an agile environment</strong>, translating complex product behavior into clear priorities, acceptance criteria, and iterative delivery<br><br></li> <li>Hands-on experience collaborating with Engineering teams on event-driven architectures, microservices, and RESTful API design.<br><br></li> <li>Familiarity with customer onboarding, delivery, and post-sales technical support — especially in a SaaS or enterprise setting.<br><br></li> <li>Strong product instincts backed by technical fluency — you can translate platform complexity into clear, compelling value for customers.</li> <li>Experience with telecom systems and standards is a plus, but not required.<br><br></li> </ul> <p>The base salary range for this position is $<span class="collapsed-field-text">139,000 - $154,000</span> USD for US residents OR $<span class="collapsed-field-text">128,000 - $142,000</span>&nbsp;CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications.
