This is how you will grow:
- Support SRT (supplies, tooling, repairs) analysis and reordering
- Individually complete analysis of SRT data and cost / area analysis
- Support cost-down topics and actions
- Support tooling optimizations with vendors to reduce total costs (turning, hobbing, grinding, etc.)
Requirements
This is how you will take us forward:
- Preferred B.S. Engineering (or equivalent experience working in engineering role for 5+ years)
- NC / CNC programming (Siemens 840D preferred)
- Machining, tool & die, or equivalent apprenticeship / training in lieu of degree optional
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ideal background in gear machining
- Preferred background in machining, including turning, grinding, hobbing, etc.
- Preferred hands-on experience with CNC machining and NC programming
- Automotive machining background (steel + aluminum)
- Experience working with tooling suppliers
