Job Title: DeNester Prepared By: Sr. HR Generalist
Department: Laser Approved By: Director of HR
Reports To: Production Manager
Summary: Unload/dismantle parts cut from various metal sheets; deburr or grind as necessary
Essential Function:
- Remove cut parts from sheets of metal
- Deburr or grind parts as necessary
- Sort and stack into bins or pallets
- Identify incorrect or damaged parts
- Adhere to business management system (BMS), as applicable
- Assist with any other duties as assigned
Requirements
Basic Requirements:
Basic math, computer, and written/verbal communication skills
General manufacturing experience and knowledge of different materials
General knowledge of grinders, power tools and other small hand tools, including tape measure and caliper
Physical Exposure:
Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, and lifting
Frequent lifting less than 20 lbs
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
Exposure to grinding sparks and dust, oils/solvents on materials
Sharp edges on parts or material
Fork truck traffic
