Precision Healthcare Specialists is seeking a reliable and flexible Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Float to support multiple specialty practices across our Collier County locations. This role is ideal for a clinically strong, adaptable MA who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working with various providers, teams, and workflows. The Float CMA plays a critical role in maintaining continuity of care and supporting clinic operations as staffing needs arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Float between assigned Precision Healthcare Specialists locations within Collier County as scheduled or needed
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, review medical histories, and document chief complaints
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during in-office procedures
- Perform clinical duties including (within scope and training):
- Injections and venipuncture
- Specimen collection and point-of-care testing
- EKGs and other diagnostic testing as applicable
- Injections and venipuncture
- Ensure exam rooms are properly stocked, cleaned, and prepared
- Accurately document all clinical interactions in the EMR
- Provide patient education and post-visit instructions
- Support front office or clinical workflows as needed to ensure smooth patient flow
- Follow all infection control, safety protocols, and HIPAA guidelines
- Adapt quickly to different specialties, providers, and clinic workflows
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) required
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical MA experience preferred
- Experience working in multiple specialties or float roles preferred
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Collier County locations
- Professional, flexible, and team-oriented attitude
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Manual dexterity for clinical procedures
