Through our network of NABL accredited labs, every product goes through a strict QC process before being dispatched so our customers get peace of mind. You get end-to-end visibility of your supply chain at all points in time. All the delays beyond our control will be known proactively for you to take your production planning decisions. We combine our technical expertise with excellent supplier relationships to give you an unprecedented customer experience. We have carefully built our team consisting of chemists and chemical engineers who’ve worked in multinationals that have served brands like BASF, Bayer, Syngenta, and other global players. We’re your true sourcing partners, an extension to your own sourcing team.

The Opportunity

As we aggressively expand our North American footprint, we are looking for a Director - Sales to lead our US market entry and growth strategy. You will be a key driver in establishing Elchemy as the preferred sourcing partner for top manufacturers and distributors in the US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive individual revenue targets for the US market through direct sales execution
  • Build, manage, and close a strong pipeline of mid-to-large enterprise customers across specialty chemical segments
  • Lead the entire sales cycle end-to-end - from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and deal closure
  • Develop deep relationships with procurement, R&D, and commercial stakeholders at customer organizations
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer use cases, and high-potential product categories within the US market
  • Work closely with sourcing, operations, and tech teams to ensure seamless fulfillment and customer experience
  • Represent Elchemy in customer meetings, industry forums, and trade events in the US
  • Track, forecast, and report sales performance with discipline, using CRM and data-driven insights
  • Continuously refine sales messaging and GTM playbooks based on on-ground customer feedback
 

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5-8+ years of sales & business development experience, with a significant background in specialty chemicals or preferably chemical distribution.
  • Track Record: Proven ability to open new markets and secure "big-ticket" enterprise accounts.
  • Tech Savviness: Comfortable working within a tech-enabled startup environment; experience using CRM data and digital platforms to drive sales efficiency.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Business; MBA is highly preferred.
  • Mindset: A startup enthusiast who is comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the challenge of building a business from the ground up in the US.
