Job Description

Home Instead East Nottingham is currently recruiting Part-Time Care Professionals, with the main demand in the Ruddington area. While most calls will be local to Ruddington, travel to other areas may be required.

You will provide high-quality care and companionship to clients in their own homes, including:

  • Offering companionship and engaging in conversation

  • Stimulating and encouraging clients through activities such as hobbies, crafts, and clothing selection

  • Monitoring diet and eating (where required)

  • Assisting with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, continence care, and eating and drinking

  • Providing medication reminders and administering medication

  • Supporting mobility, including assistance with walking

  • Accompanying clients to appointments, social events, and outings

  • Providing dementia and Alzheimer’s care

  • Offering respite and convalescence care

  • Running errands, collecting prescriptions, and helping with shopping

  • Helping with travel arrangements and overseeing deliveries

  • Performing light housekeeping tasks

  • Planning, preparing, and clearing away meals

  • Assisting with pet care and supervising home maintenance

  • Good hygiene practices, smart appearance, and physical stamina

Essential requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence with access to your own car

  • Class 1 business insurance

  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
