Primary Responsibilities:
- Loading/unloading delivery vehicles of raw sheet metal & finished goods
- Physical verification of deliveries, assist in updating ERP inventory
- Material and parts handling, staging, organization between work cells
- Transportation/organization of materials between local facilities or completing local deliveries on occasion
- Assist in preparing, packing, labeling, securing parts for shipment
- Assist in preparing or receiving shipments in ERP; printing/handling packing lists
- Assist manufacturing team in emptying scrap bins
- Other day to day tasks as needed to support manufacturing, shipping/receiving department, & on time delivery
Starting pay dependent on total related experience
Requirements
Qualifications
- 2+ years previous forklift experience required with no work related safety infractions
- Some experience in a dedicated material handling, warehouse or shipping/receiving role preferred
- Must be a team player who keeps the customer and others in mind
- Detail orientated, safety conscious, with an aptitude for organization
- Valid, current driver’s license (no CDL required), & no moving or impaired while driving traffic violations in last 3 years
- Ability to regularly lift raw material or finished goods up to 35 pounds
- Aptitude for computers, comfortable learning new systems/software as needed
- Able to alternate between sitting/standing for up to 8 hours/day
