Position Overview

The Sports Club Tennis Professional is responsible for providing high-quality tennis instruction and programming for members and guests. This role supports private lessons, group clinics, leagues, and special events while delivering exceptional customer service in alignment with Boar’s Head Resort standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide private and group tennis instruction for all skill levels
   
• Lead clinics, camps, leagues, and tennis programs
   
• Promote member engagement and participation
   
• Maintain safe, organized courts and equipment
   
• Support tournaments and special events
   
• Collaborate with Sports Club leadership and front desk staff
   
• Maintain accurate scheduling and participation records
   
• Enforce safety standards and facility policies
   

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
   
• Prior tennis instruction, coaching, or competitive playing experience preferred
   
• Strong communication and customer service skills
   
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
   

Preferred Qualifications

• USPTA, PTR, or equivalent certification
   
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification
   
• Experience in private club, resort, or recreational environment
