Bartender

Le Meridien / Spoke and Steele- Indianapolis, IN

Join Le Meridien Indianapolis as a Bartender at Spoke and Steele!  If you are a passionate and experienced bartender with leadership skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

  • Assists Lead Bartender as needed in ordering, receiving, stocking and maintaining par levels for bar supplies/dry goods/fruits/mixers/purees/etc. 
  • Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks for guests and the service bar.
  • Ensures that food and beverages being served are of high quality and properly presented
  • Assists in maintaining carbonated and beer beverage systems.
  • Assists the Food and Beverage Supervisors in training new staff.
  • Understands and enforces Utah and Federal laws and regulations regarding food and liquor sales.

Requirements

  • Relevant bartending training and experience required. 
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional service.
  • Applicable state licenses and/or certificates. 
  • Respectful of peers and co-workers.
  • Professional Black-on-Black attire with nonslip shoes. Company does not provide attire.

Physical Requirements:

· Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.

· Pushing, bending, stooping, upward  reaching, manual dexterity.

· Hearing, writing, typing.

· Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.

· Other duties may be assigned
