About the Role

Description

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide service provider specializing in commercial skilled trade services. As a Construction Material Handler, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing commercial construction materials. The ideal candidate will have recent experience working with a variety of commercial construction parts and materials in an environment similar to a supply house Pro Desk. The schedule for this position is Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.  


Responsibilities

  • Receive, inventory and distribute commercial construction materials, tools, and equipment within the warehouse
  • Verify and maintain records of incoming and outbound product
  • Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using appropriate equipment
  • Perform regular inventory counts and restock materials as needed
  • Deliver and retrieve materials using company vehicles, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Ensure safety and department compliance are practiced at all times
  • Collaborate with team members or work independently to meet operational needs
  • Willingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the department

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience handling construction material preferably within a construction wholesale distribution environment
  • Physical ability of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the shift
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and motor vehicle background check
  • This position requires English literacy for the use of cell phone and email communication
