About the Role

Description

The supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a team or department. They are responsible for both managerial tasks and team development, aiming to achieve organizational goals while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.


Responsibilities:

1.Team Leadership and Management:

  • Supervise and manage a team of employees.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
  • Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback.

2.Operational Oversight:

  • Ensure daily operations run smoothly.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Address and resolve operational issues and concerns.

3.Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and opportunities for team members.
  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops.
  • Promote continuous learning and development within the team.

4.Performance Management:

  • Set performance goals and objectives for the team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Recognize high performance and address performance issues promptly.

5.Communication:

  • Facilitate team meetings and communicate company updates.
  • Foster open communication within the team.
  • Address conflicts and resolve issues within the team.

6.Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor product/service quality and adherence to standards.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives as needed.



Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a supervisor or in a similar managerial role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

  • Availability to work shifts or weekends as needed.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
