SCHEDULE

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Hours may be different every week and schedules are not set or guaranteed. Weekend availability is a must

REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BUSSER INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Ability to engage in personable, prompt, and polite interactions with Guests. Respond to questions—know where to find information if unknown to you
  • Clear, clean, set and re-set tables with complete place settings (silverware, glasses, dishes, and napkins), and as needed
  • Exercise care with all restaurant equipment, dishes, silverware, and glasses to ensure minimum breakage
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining areas and common areas (tables, counters, equipment, restroom, and floors) at all times 
  • During any down time, proactively assist other team members or as requested by manager
  • Notify management of any comments, suggestions or complaints from any Guests

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • High school education is required; Hospitality or other degrees are a plus
  • The ideal candidate will have 1+ year previous experience in a Busser position, but it is not required

PHYSICAL

  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
