About the Role:
Corus Hospice in Albuquerque is looking for a compassionate and experienced Hospice RN to join our close-knit team. In this field-based role, you’ll provide direct support to patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses—delivering expert symptom management and meaningful comfort where it matters most: at home.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled nursing care in alignment with each patient’s hospice plan of care.
  • Perform in-home assessments to evaluate patient symptoms, goals, and eligibility.
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and families about the hospice philosophy and services.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to create and adjust individualized care plans.
  • Manage pain and symptoms through both pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods.
  • Communicate closely with physicians, caregivers, and other providers to ensure quality, coordinated care.
  • Support patients and families at end-of-life, including guidance through bereavement resources.
  • Document care accurately and in a timely manner using EMR systems.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active RN license in New Mexico.
  • At least one year of hospice experience is preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in the field.
  • Compassionate communicator with patients, families, and peers.
  • Proficient with mobile documentation (iPad, iPhone, etc.).
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
