About the Role

POSITION SUMMARY

The position is responsible for picking up mail from client locations, maintaining a timely schedule, and ensuring client needs are satisfied.

HOURS:   

Split Shift: 12:00PM to 8:30PM Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday from 8AM to noon as business requires.  

LOCATION: Itasca, Illinois

KEY RESPONSABILITIES  

  • Safely drive to client sites to pick up mail
  • Load and unload mail trays and mail supplies using hand trucks and electric lifts as required
  • Ensure all paperwork is accurate and placards are attached to skids
  • Maintain a cordial and professional image
  • Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines and safety procedures
  • Notify management of any accidents, tickets, vehicle damage, and major maintenance issues
  • Ensure company truck is always clean and well-maintained

RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES

  • Conducir de manera segura a los sitios de los clientes para recoger el correo
  • Cargar y descargar bandejas de correo y suministros utilizando carritos manuales y elevadores eléctricos según se requiera
  • Asegurarse de que toda la documentación sea precisa y que las placas estén adheridas a los palets
  • Mantener una imagen cordial y profesional
  • Cumplir consistentemente con las directrices de procedimientos comerciales y procedimientos de seguridad
  • Notificar a la gerencia sobre cualquier accidente, infracción, daño al vehículo y problemas importantes de mantenimiento

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Previous professional driving experience required
  • Sound knowledge of road safety regulations
  • Ability to utilize GPS
  • Ability to operate hand trucks and electric lifts
  • Effective communication skills
  • Punctual and reliable 
  • Experience preferred in conveyer factories, warehouse, and shift work
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful but not required

REQUISITOS Y CALIFICACIONES:

  • Título de secundaria o GED.
  • Debe tener licencia de conducir clase C válida y historial de manejo limpio
  • Se requiere experiencia previa en conducción profesional
  • Conocimiento sólido de las regulaciones de seguridad vial
  • Capacidad para utilizar GPS
  • Capacidad para operar carritos      manuales y elevadores eléctricos.
  • Habilidades efectivas de comunicación
  • Puntualidad y confiabilidad
  • Se prefiere experiencia en fábricas de cintas transportadoras, almacenes y trabajo por turnos.
  • Bilingüe (inglés/español) es útil, pero no obligatorio
