We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Finance Office:
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
Assisting the Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager to carry out day-to-day operations;
Handling the entire procurement cycle ranging from specifications review, sourcing, preparation of tender documents, quotation summary, contract award and purchase order to delivery of goods and services;
Liaison with internal users and managing performance of suppliers;
Collecting procurement related data, providing analysis and reports for management consideration;
Supervising the junior staff; and
- Performing any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
A recognized degree or equivalent in relevant disciplines;
3 years' relevant post-qualification experience in procurement, tendering and vendor management function, preferably gained from tertiary educational institutions, multinational or sizable organizations;
Good communication and inter-personal skills and good command of English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua);
Good team spirit, responsible, methodical, numeric sensitive, attentive to details, self-motivated and able to work closely and engage with various stakeholders;
Sound organizational, analytical and problem solving skills;
- Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks meeting tight deadlines; and
- Hands-on experience in Oracle Financials and e-Tendering is a definite advantage.
Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Procurement Officer.
