Pediatric Dental Assistant

<p>💰 <strong>Competitive Pay</strong>: Starting at <strong>$18 per hour</strong>, with opportunities for higher compensation based on experience and training!</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br>✔ Assist pediatric dentists chairside during cleanings, exams, sealants, fillings, and other treatments.<br>✔ Help create a positive and calming environment for children and their families.<br>✔ Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms and organize kid-friendly materials and instruments.<br>✔ Provide patient education on brushing, flossing, and oral hygiene habits tailored to young patients.<br>✔ Take and process pediatric dental X-rays with care and precision.<br>✔ Manage instruments and sterilization according to safety protocols.<br>✔ Support smooth patient flow by working closely with the front desk and other clinical team members.<br>✔ Comfort and guide children through their visit with patience and a friendly attitude.</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br>✔ Experience working with children is a major plus — whether in a dental setting, school, or childcare.<br>✔ Eagerness to learn and grow in the pediatric dental field.<br>✔ Excellent communication skills and a warm, upbeat personality.<br>✔ Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical environment.<br>✔ Radiology certification preferred or willingness to obtain.<br>✔ Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend or other dental software is a plus!</p>
