INTRODUCTION
The C208 Fleet Maintenance Manager oversees the daily maintenance operations of the Company’s Cessna 208 fleet operated under Part 135. This role ensures aircraft are maintained in an airworthy, compliant, reliable, and cost-effective manner while supporting operational schedules. The position operates under the delegated authority of the Director of Maintenance in accordance with Company manuals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day maintenance operations for the C208 fleet to support on-time performance
- Act as a delegated representative of the Director of Maintenance as authorized
- Maintain real-time awareness of fleet mechanical status, deferred items, and maintenance activity
- Coordinate with Maintenance Control, Planning, Operations, and line stations to resolve mechanical issues and AOG events
- Oversee planning and scheduling of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Review MELs, deferred maintenance, and maintenance work orders for compliance and accuracy
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance and flight operations personnel
- Manage the Engine Condition Trend Monitoring (ECTM) program
- Oversee contract maintenance providers and related billing
- Ensure line stations have adequate facilities, tooling, and qualified personnel
- Monitor labor utilization and maintenance-related expenses
Leadership & Oversight
- Direct supervision of Station Supervisors, Lead Aircraft Technicians, and Aircraft Technicians
- Coordinate maintenance activities across multiple stations
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
Other duties as assigned by DOM.
PAY & BENEFITS
- This is a full-time position and may require up to 50% travel.
- Starting salary for this position is $85,000 - $92,000 depending on certifications and experience.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required. Minimum 5 years turboprop maintenance experience. Minimum 3 years maintenance leadership or supervisory experience. Inspection Authorization preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to travel as required. Must have a valid driver’s license with insurable record through Empire’s policy. Must adhere to the Company’s FAA/DOT required Drug and Alcohol Program.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed primarily in an office environment with travel required. Will be exposed to noise and hazards associated with a hangar. Requires standing, walking, sitting, bending and stooping for extended periods of time. May be required to lift up to 20 pounds. Requires manual dexterity, speaking, seeing and hearing to conduct business.
