About the Role

Description

The server ensures prompt, polite and efficient service to the members and their guests. They are responsible for assigned stations or private dining rooms. They provide food and beverage service to the satisfaction of all members and guests. Servers will take orders while maintaining knowledge of menu items, food preparation methods, ingredients, beverages and wines available. Provide a leadership role for other service staff. Assist the Dining Room and Banquet Manager as requested or directed.

Responsibilities

  1. Adheres to the application of all service standards as outlined in the Food & Beverage Service Manual
  2. Maintain level of knowledge of the P.O.S current menu choices, specialties, and menu modifications options and verify accuracy of all charges on POS tickets.
  3. Supports the overall success of the department by completing tasks relevant to his/her role at the request of his/her team members or any manager
  4. Suggests dishes, assists in food and beverage selection; informing members and their guests about food preparation details and communicates preparation and dietary needs to the chef.
  5. Works with other service staff and bartenders in order to facilitate food service and fulfills customer needs during their dining experience.
  6. Work independently with great initiative, while also taking advantage and promoting teamwork.
  7. Communicates concerns, guests’ requests, safety, and personal requests to supervisors in a timely manner.
  8. Is knowledgeable of Club-related information
  9. Adhere to grooming and uniform standards




Requirements

Required:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree


Work Experience Required/Preferred:

Minimum of 1-2 years in fine dining

Previous customer service experience a plus


Required Certification(s):

Food Handler Certification
