About the Role

We are seeking a Program Manager, Employment Services to join our team in Chester, Delaware & Montgomery Counties. 

 

Earn: $57,000-62,000/Annually (Based on experience and education).

 

You will be working out of the West Chester, PA office.  Flexibility to work remotely as needed. 

 

The Program Manager plays a crucial role in the day-to-day management and oversight of specific programs or services within their assigned Division, reporting to the Program Director or Director. This position is responsible for coordinating program activities, supervising program staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to participants, including managing a caseload of individuals.

 

Specifically, the Program Manager oversees the employment program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, collaborating with employers to identify suitable job opportunities, providing training to employment specialists, conducting assessments to determine individual strengths and needs, and monitoring progress and outcomes.

 

Additionally, they advocate for inclusion in the workplace, maintain necessary documentation, stay updated with best practices, and work closely with other service providers. Strong leadership, communication skills, and a passion for supporting individuals in achieving their employment goals are essential for success in this role.

 

Staff Management:

• Supervise and engage program staff, providing in person direction, guidance, and support.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss program goals, updates, and challenges.
• Actively participate in program and new hire orientation for DSP’s
• Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff members.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring workload balance.
• Address staffing issues, conflicts, and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, engagement and collaboration.

 

Client Care and Safety:
• Oversee participant intake and assessment processes to ensure a comprehensive understanding of individual needs.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans for program participants.
• Monitor participant progress towards goals and adjust service plans as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to participants experiencing emergencies or crises.
• Ensure participant’s safety and well-being through regular check-ins and follow-ups.

 

Program Operations:
• Overall coordination of individual care and services
• Ensure compliance with programmatic requirements, regulations, and standards.
• Collect, analyze, and report program data and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Coordinate program logistics, including scheduling.
• Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program impact.
• Represent the program and organization in meetings, events, and community forums.
• Demonstrate initiative & personal responsibility for assignments; comply with state, federal and agency expectations, and regulations.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate will Possess the following qualifications: 

  • 60 College Credits Required; bachelor's degree Preferred. 
  • 3-5 Years Related Experience 
  • 2 Years Supervisory/Managerial Experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience with IDD population, preferred.
  • ACRE Certification or CESP Certification upon hire (within 6 months)
