The role of the Business Development Ops Associate is to support Business Development team members, primarily by completing administrative duties, tracking metrics, and completing ad hoc projects. This individual, under general direction, will assist with client outreach strategies, provide targeted analysis of sales data and prospective clients, and assist the team in enhancing client relationships and ultimately generating additional revenue.  Location: Remote within the *Pacific timezone*, with the San Francisco area preferred   Salary: $85k - $92k, depending on experience   Primary Responsibilities This role provides tactical support of Business Development representatives in the West territory. Under general direction, the Business Development Operations Associate will play a key role in supporting the Business Development team in the following ways: <ul> <li>Support BD team to drive significant revenue with current and prospective clients in the M&A ecosystem</li> <li>Manage and maintain the integrity of the Salesforce database</li> <li>Develop tailored, high-value outreach and campaigns to key client segments, including M&A attorneys, VC and PE investors and corporate acquirers</li> <li>Extract and analyze data from Salesforce.com or other systems of record for BD team</li> <li>Coordinate (and attend, when appropriate) meetings and client events for the BD Team with M&A attorneys, VC and PE investors and corporate acquirers</li> <li>Qualify leads generated through company website and marketing initiatives and work with BD team to manage targeted follow up</li> <li>Assist in scheduling product demonstrations and client presentations and manage all follow-up</li> <li>Identify trends in the data, suggest tactical approaches to improve current plans and take advantage of trends</li> <li>Prepare and analyze account performance</li> <li>Collaborate closely with peers to develop best practices</li> <li>Contribute to team goals and work on special projects</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> Required Qualifications & Skills: <ul> <li>3+ years’ experience in sales/client service </li> <li>3+ years’ experience in an analytical capacity </li> <li>Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience</li> <li>Ability to work in a high energy team environment while remaining focused on driving revenue</li> <li>Proven track record supporting and driving revenue growth</li> <li>Operates with highest integrity and attention to detail </li> <li>Passionate about efficient, scalable business processes </li> <li>Ability to prioritize and multi-task across many projects </li> <li>Results-focused and highly internally motivated team player</li> <li>Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite </li> <li>Intermediate to advanced Excel skills</li> <li>Ability to prioritize and organize workload effectively</li> <li>Proven experience working well with a variety of differing personalities</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of company staff and coordinate a wide range of internal and external activities</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> </ul> Preferred Requirements: <ul> <li>Understanding of M&A and corporate legal environment</li> <li>Basic knowledge of sales and marketing processes</li> </ul> Desired Characteristics: <ul> <li>Self-motivated </li> <li>Intellectually curious </li> <li>Collaborative </li> <li>Amiable </li> </ul> Physical Requirements/Special Demands: <ul> <li>Must be available to work standard business hours.</li> <li>Travel may be necessary and may not be scheduled in advance.</li> </ul> <h4>** We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas.
