We are currently seeking a board-certified (or board-eligible) Veterinary Criticalist – Hospitalist to join our team in a flexible, daytime-only role. This is an opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative, well-supported, and ever-evolving environment.

  • Dr. Jared Williams, DACVIM, provides internal medicine services through Ozark Veterinary Specialty Care within our facility.

  • Dr. Mark Sharp, DVM, has a special interest and years of experience in orthopedic and soft tissue surgery.

  • Dr. Winter, a board-certified veterinary dentist, provides advanced dental care twice monthly.

  • Dr. Hodgson, DVM, brings expertise and focused training in ophthalmology.

  • We also offer on-site MRI and CT capabilities to support advanced diagnostics and timely treatment.

Home to Arkansas’s First and Only Veterinary Blood Bank

Our in-house Veterinary Blood Bank- The Animal Blood Bank of NWA supplies plasma and packed red blood cells to our patients and clinics throughout Northwest Arkansas and the Alliance network. As a Criticalist, you’ll have immediate access to lifesaving transfusion products when seconds matter.

K9 Trauma Response Program
We proudly train local K9 police units in field trauma response and supply them with complete trauma kits, helping protect the working dogs that protect our communities.

A Strong, Skilled Support Team
We are proud to employ a large team of dedicated Certified Veterinary Technicians, including multiple CVTs pursuing ECC certification. You'll work alongside a cohesive and highly trained staff that allows you to focus on your expertise.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board eligible Veterinary Crticalist
  • DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in Arkansas.
  • Previous experience in emergency or critical care preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to client education.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-doctor environment.
  • Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator
