Annual Salary: $80,000 - $85,000

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Registered Nurse II reports the Health and Wellness Manager (RN) and is a salaried exempt position.
  • The Registered Nurse II supervises the day-to-day wellness clinic as well as the nursing staff.
  • Works with the Health and Wellness Manager to ensure proper staffing of the wellness clinic.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with the Health & Wellness Manager.  
  • Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, dresses wounds and assist with student physicals. 
  • Administers specified medication and annotates time and amount on patient’s chart.
  • Assembles, sterilizes and uses various medical equipment and supplies
  • Maintains charts for trainees seen by medical personnel.

Qualifications

  • State Registered Nurse’s License and one year of experience as a practicing Registered Nurse; active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Georgia. 
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
