About the Role

  Secret security clearance (Top Secret/SCI Preferred)

  Work in a classified workspace at the NGB


 

This opportunity is in the Strategic Plans and Policy (G35) directorate of the Army National Guard (ARNG) staff of the National Guard Bureau (NGB) located on 111 S. George Mason Drive in Arlington, VA. 


Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating ARNG participation in O-6 and 3-Star HQDA governance forums. 
  •  Coordinating with ARNG Senior Leaders, ARNG Staff, HQDA, drafting Information Papers/EXSUMs/PowerPoints/Talking Points, and misc. other tasks identified. 
  •  Conduct analysis on strategic documents to identify ARNG equities.  
  •  Serve as Division Knowledge Management Representative (KMR) and SharePoint content manager.  
  •  Participate in planning Army and Joint OPTs and Working Group in support of the ARNG and NGB. 
  •  Conduct light ETMS2 workflow duties as needed.  
  • Support business development activity through development relationship networks and potential customer engagement


Ability to work in office at least90% (Limited telework --especially year 1)



Requirements

 Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency with SharePoint
  • Strong proficiency using MS Teams to setup and administer senior military leader classified meetings 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to include in engagements with senior military officers
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid proficiency using PowerPoint (for reformatting and editing briefs)
  • Strong proficiency using Calendar feature of MS Office (creating and modifying Calendar events)
  • Proactive work ethic
  • Secret Security clearance with ability to obtain TS-SCI within 1 year
  • Ability to work in office at least90% (Limited telework --especially year 1)
  • Familiarity with use of electronic document staffing systems 
  • Ability to start work no later than15 APR 2026 

Preferred :

  • Familiarity with HQDA Army Synchronization Meeting 
  • Experience working in National Guard Bureau (on ARNG staff of NGB adds additional value)
  • If none of above, experience working with Army orgs (ideally at HQDA but another military service is acceptable)
  • Experience engaging with high professionalism with senior leaders 
  • Experience using DoD electronic document staffing systems (ETMS, CATMS, etc.)
