About the Role

Job Summary

  • The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and optimizing the movement of goods, materials, and shipments to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery. The role works closely with suppliers, transporters, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to support smooth logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Key Responsibilities
    • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments (local and/or international).
    • Plan and monitor transportation routes, schedules, and delivery timelines.
    • Prepare and review shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, customs documents if applicable).
    • Liaise with freight forwarders, transport companies, customs brokers, and suppliers.
    • Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local/international regulations.
    • Monitor logistics costs and support cost optimization initiatives.
    • Maintain accurate logistics records and reports in the system.
    • Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, sales, and finance teams.
    • Support inventory accuracy by aligning deliveries with warehouse capacity and demand.
    • Handle customer or internal inquiries related to shipment status.
    • Participate in continuous improvement of logistics processes.
    • 2–4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain roles.
    • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, agriculture, or trading environments is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
    • Knowledge of shipping documentation and transport operations.
    • Good communication and coordination skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and follow-up abilities.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
    • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
