Role Purpose
The Chief Technology & Digital Transformation Officer (CTDTO) is responsible for defining and
executing the enterprise-wide technology and digital transformation strategy to enable business
growth, operational excellence, innovation, cyber resilience, and long-term competitiveness.
The role integrates IT, digital platforms, data, automation, AI, cybersecurity, and emerging
technologies into a coherent transformation agenda aligned with corporate strategy, value
creation, and shareholder expectations.
Key Accountabilities :
1. Enterprise Technology & Digital Strategy
• Define and own the 3–5 year Technology & Digital Transformation Roadmap aligned with
corporate and business strategies.
• Translate business objectives into scalable digital platforms, architectures, and
capability roadmaps.
• Lead modernization of legacy systems and transition to cloud, data-driven, and AI
enabled operating models.
2. Digital Transformation & Innovation
• Drive end-to-end digital transformation across core value chains (manufacturing,
supply chain, sales, customer experience, finance, HR, governance).
• Establish innovation frameworks, digital labs, and partnerships with technology
providers, startups, and universities.
• Sponsor automation, Industry 4.0, IoT, advanced analytics, and smart operations
initiatives.
3. IT & Enterprise Architecture
• Own enterprise architecture, applications landscape, infrastructure, cloud strategy, and
integration platforms.
• Ensure interoperability, scalability, performance, and business continuity across all
systems.
• Lead ERP, CRM, WMS, MES, PLM, BI, and core platform strategy and governance.
4. Cybersecurity & Technology Risk
• Establish and oversee enterprise cybersecurity, data privacy, and resilience frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance, and IPO-readiness requirements (e.g.,
ISO 27001, NCA, PDPL, SOX-ITGC, CMA/SEC expectations).
• Lead disaster recovery, business continuity, and crisis response readiness.
5. Data, Analytics & AI
• Build a unified data strategy (governance, quality, master data, analytics, AI/ML,
decision intelligence).
• Enable real-time executive dashboards, predictive analytics, and AI-driven decision
support.
• Ensure ethical, secure, and compliant use of AI and advanced analytics.
6. Technology Governance & Investment
• Chair the Technology Investment Committee and Digital Portfolio Review.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business value, ROI, risk, and strategic alignment.
• Manage technology budgets, vendors, contracts, and sourcing strategies.
7. Organization & Talent
• Build and lead a high-performing technology and digital organization (IT, Digital, Data,
Cyber, PMO, Architecture).
• Develop future-ready digital skills, leadership pipelines, and succession plans.
• Embed agile, product-oriented, and value-delivery operating models.
8. Board & Executive Advisory
• Act as strategic advisor to the CEO and Board on technology trends, digital risks, and
competitive disruption.
• Present digital transformation progress, investment cases, and risk dashboards to the
Board and Audit/Risk Committees.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) preferred.
• Professional certifications (CIO, TOGAF, PMP, ITIL, CISSP, CISM, Cloud Architect) are an advantage.
Experience
• 15–25 years of progressive leadership in Technology, Digital Transformation, or IT.
• Proven track record as CIO, CDTO, CTO, or equivalent at enterprise or group level.
• Demonstrated leadership of large-scale ERP, cloud, data, cybersecurity, and digital
transformation programs.
• Experience in regulated, IPO-ready, or publicly listed environments preferred.
• Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or complex multi-business
groups is a strong advantage.
