About The Company
TIPA develops and manufacturers revolutionary biodegradable packaging solutions for the food industry. These unique packaging solutions degrade biologically in up to 180 days in industrial compost – compared to regular common plastic packages that degrade in dozen of years. TIPA's 100% biodegradable films incorporate high flexibility and durability, high resistance to oxygen and water vapor permeation and transparency.
About the Role

The Mission: Circularity Without Compromise

TIPA is a fast-growing global leader on a mission to rewrite the history of plastic. We develop and manufacture high-performance, flexible compostable packaging designed to fit into a systemic ecosystem solution. Our technology provides the durability and shelf life brands expect from traditional plastics, but with a safe, sustainable end-of-life.

The Role: Your Impact

As the Account Manager (NA), you are the face of TIPA to our most valued partners in our fastest growing market. You won’t just "manage" accounts; you will be the bridge between cutting-edge material science and the world’s leading brands. You will ensure our clients successfully transition to sustainable solutions while maximizing the value and retention of our North American portfolio. You are the strategic bridge between TIPA and our partners. This role requires a balance of high-touch client relationship management and rigorous internal data discipline to ensure our rapid growth is sustainable and data-driven.

Location: Remote (Home-based, North America)

Travel: Approximately 40–50% within the territory (West coast and Central)

Reporting to: General Manager, North America.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Act as the primary consultant and advocate for a portfolio of North American accounts, fostering deep, long-term partnerships beyond simple transactions.

·       Internal Intelligence & CRM Excellence: Maintain 100% accuracy in the CRM (Zoho). Ensure all communications, project milestones, and deal stages are updated in real-time to provide a "single source of truth" for the global team.

  • Proactive Pipeline Reporting: Deliver weekly and monthly internal reports to the GM and HQ, forecasting volume requirements, identifying potential churn risks, and highlighting expansion opportunities.
  • Project Orchestration: Lead the liaison between clients and TIPA’s global teams (Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations) to ensure seamless project delivery and technical integration.
  • Growth & Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts, ensuring TIPA’s innovations are fully leveraged by our partners.
  • Performance Analytics: Monitor account health and usage patterns, delivering data-driven progress reports to both clients and internal executive leadership.
  • Issue Resolution: Serve as the "first responder" for client challenges, coordinating rapid technical or operational solutions to maintain high satisfaction levels.

What You Bring

  • Industry Expertise: 3+ years of experience in Account Management or Technical Sales, ideally within the packaging, chemicals, or sustainable materials sectors.
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to understand and communicate the technical specifications of flexible films and the complexities of the compostable waste stream.
  • The "Startup" Mindset: Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced environment where you must be self-driven and comfortable working across different time zones (HQ is in Israel).
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage complex timelines involving multiple stakeholders (converters, brands, and internal R&D).
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.

Why TIPA?

  • Equity: Be a true stakeholder with our Stock Options agreement.
  • Futureproofing: Competitive 401k contribution and comprehensive medical/insurance benefits.
  • Rewarding Impact: Annual performance-based bonuses tied to clear, transparent KPIs.
  • Global Culture: Join a diverse, inclusive environment where your work directly contributes to solving the global plastic pollution crisis.
