Specific Responsibilities Would Include:

Handle end-to-end product development until shipment, ensuring the right quality, vendor, price, and on-time delivery.

  • Communicate regularly with buyers about production and shipment status.
  • Manage assigned product categories and serve as the primary contact for those areas.
  • Coordinate operational activities, including sample development, costing, production tracking, and WIP follow-ups.
  • Communicate requirements to suppliers and oversee the order process to ensure quality, quantity, and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers as directed by management.
  • Monitor critical paths, forecast delays, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Address production issues and collaborate with suppliers to offer solutions.
  • Supervise and support Merchandisers and Product Developers.
  • Oversee factory production, quality inspections, and compliance with deadlines.
  • Manage vendor onboarding, lab dips, fabric submissions, and packing material approvals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with buyers and suppliers to optimize margins.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have:

  • Proven working experience in merchandising
  • Creativity, technical capability and sensibility for merchandising/design
  • Up to date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices
  • Knowledge of garment manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim and print techniques
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, Excel
