As HR Transformation Lead at KPN, you understand better than anyone how critical strategic workforce planning, organizational design and skills are for future-proof organizations. In this role, you will work on an ambitious two-year transformation program with visible impact toward 2030. You operate at enterprise level, close to the board, translating vision into concrete decision-making. You work in a hybrid setup from Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Job Description

You ensure that KPN has a future-ready workforce and organizational structure that moves in line with strategic ambitions. Thanks to you, strategic decisions on skills, capacity and organizational design are underpinned by data and scenarios. You not only develop the enterprise vision on Strategic Workforce Management, but also ensure that skills-based ways of working are fully embedded in processes, systems and decision-making. You combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution within a complex stakeholder landscape. In doing so, you connect HR, business, finance and analytics into one coherent governance and steering logic.

  • Developing, implementing and embedding Strategic Workforce Management at enterprise and segment level
  • Designing and applying organizational design principles within complex transformations and restructurings
  • Translating workforce, skills and AI-driven analytics into concrete board and executive management decisions
  • Embedding skills-based management in HR processes, tooling and governance
  • Providing functional leadership to three content-driven workstreams and facilitating reviews and scenario analyses with senior stakeholders

You work within a strategic HR transformation team operating at enterprise level. The team consists of specialists in HR, data, analytics and organizational development, spread across multiple technical workstreams. You collaborate in a hybrid way, with fixed days in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, and plenty of room for in-depth content work and collaboration.

Qualifications

You move comfortably in complex organizations with many interests and diverse perspectives. You combine strong analytical depth with a clear can-do mindset. In challenging discussions, you remain sharp, constructive and results-driven. You switch effortlessly between strategy and execution, bringing energy, structure and direction. To be successful in this role, you have at least:

  • A completed Master’s degree (WO) in HR, organizational studies, business administration, data/analytics or a comparable field
  • A background as a strategy consultant, data analyst or a similar role with enterprise-level scope
  • Extensive experience with Strategic Workforce Management and/or organizational design
  • Experience with skills-based and data-driven HR transformations, including AI analytics
  • Fluent proficiency English

  • A gross monthly salary ranging from €6,774 to €10,701 depending on your experience, based on a 40-hour workweek. We carefully determine your salary level using our internal benchmark roles and market-aligned guidelines, ensuring your compensation matches your impact and development within KPN.
