Front Desk Supervisor Job Summary

The Front Desk Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk staff. Duties include greeting and directing guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, and providing assistance to guests. The Front Desk Supervisor will also ensure that all customer service standards are met and that all guests have a positive experience.

Front Desk Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and work with front desk staff and ensure that they provide excellent customer service
  • Respond to guests' inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor daily operations of the front desk, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests
  • Manage cleanliness of front desk and waiting room
  • Ensure accuracy of billing and payment processes
  • Monitor and review guest feedback
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Train and coach front desk staff
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • File away invoices 
  • Order Supplies for Front desk 
  • Provide front desk schedules and approve time off requests
  • Help with credentialing and insurance audits 
  • Collect cash and checks and make sure that front desk closes out at end of day and prepares deposit for Manager

Requirements

 

Front Desk Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications

  • College associates diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of medical front desk 
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Reliable transportation ablility to go to all 3 office locations as needed
