PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Senior Project Manager plans, coordinates, and delivers strategic projects that support Definiti's goals and operational priorities. This role partners closely with leaders in Sales, Operations, Technology, Finance, and other teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
This position plays a key role in driving organizational and operational change, including organizational design initiatives and company-wide deployments that support Definiti's strategic structure and operating model. Success in this role requires strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to quickly learn the business and build trusted relationships.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead day-to-day project execution, ensuring alignment with timelines, scope, and objectives
- Build and maintain project plans, milestones, schedules, and documentation
- Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Partner with business leaders to understand priorities, challenges, and strategic goals
- Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and escalate as needed
- Coordinate resources and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient delivery
- Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates to leadership
- Maintain accurate project documentation, metrics, and artifacts aligned with company standards
- Support change management efforts by helping teams prepare for and adopt new processes or solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and practices
- Gain a deep understanding of the business by engaging with leaders, teams, and operational workflows
- Lead and support business-focused process improvements and operational changes tied to strategic priorities
Requirements
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience leading cross-functional, business transformation initiatives
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate obstacles
- High attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation and reporting
- Sound judgment, discretion, and integrity
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of project management or related experience required
- Experience in financial industries or professional services preferred
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; ability to navigate web-based systems required
REMOTE WORKING REQUIREMENTS

- Have access to a reliable and consistently strong, high-speed internet connection suitable for remote work. A stable, high-speed internet connection is essential for effective communication, collaboration, and productivity while working remotely
- Designate a quiet, and well-lit space free of as many distractions as possible
- Be online and available to work during designated business hours in local time zone
- Accustomed to using Microsoft Teams (or similar virtual-meeting applications) to meet with colleagues regularly on video and use the chat feature for quick communications. We utilize many Microsoft Teams features (such as Channels and file storage) for announcements, relevant conversations, and file sharing. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams is a plus
- Accustomed with file-storage and file-sharing tools such as Microsoft SharePoint
