We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences:
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointees will mainly assist two art-based creation projects under QEM Project (Q1115). The appointees will be responsible mainly for the following:
Participating in concept and art direction development for animations and key assets;
Developing storyboards for the initial stages of production;
Creating models, drawings and illustrations by hand or electronically;
Making 2D/3D animations; and
Comprehending and executing direction from the project supervisor.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
A recognized Bachelor's degree in Creative Media, Animation, or a related discipline;
Strong knowledge of 2D/3D animation production;
Good 2D/3D-related artistic and visual design principles and techniques;
Proficient in CGI software;
Detail-oriented, hardworking, responsible, self-motivated, able to meet deadlines and work independently; and
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Terms and Conditions for Appointment
Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary full-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
