About the Role

We’re thrilled to announce that our sparkling new clinic has officially opened its doors in the heart of St Kilda, and we’re searching for an enthusiastic Full-Time Vet Nurse to help bring this space to life!

Our standalone clinic sits just off lively Acland Street, right near the dog park and only a short stroll from our fantastic St Kilda Petbarn team, who will be sending plenty of excited pet parents your way.

Step into a modern, purpose-built, fully equipped clinic (yes, with on-site parking!) and enjoy exceptional support from your Practice Manager, Head Nurse and Vet Director. We’re committed to your growth, with CE programs and opportunities to expand your skills in the areas that excite you most.

What You’ll Be Doing

A dynamic mix of nursing duties, including:

  • General surgical, medical, consult and emergency nursing
  • Assisting with minor procedures when required
  • Caring for, handling and cleaning animals in a fear-free, low-stress environment
  • Maintaining the hygiene and sterility of the clinic, including surgical zones and equipment
  • Reception duties: greeting clients, managing calls, scheduling appointments, billing, and admitting/discharging patients

Who We’re Looking For

A passionate, professional nurse who’s committed to delivering an exceptional standard of care. Someone who thrives on maintaining high clinical standards, embraces improvement, and ensures every animal receives the best experience possible.

You’ll bring:

  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing + 2+ years’ experience
  • Excellent animal handling skills
  • Strong surgical nursing knowledge
  • A calm, friendly, mature and empathetic approach
  • Fantastic communication and customer service skills
  • RX Works experience (bonus, not essential)
